“Grief is a part of every human life. We desperately try to avoid it. But it can provide profound instruction about how we can experience life, and love, more deeply.”

-Bryan Welch, Author of The Gift of a Broken Heart

Many of us come to a meditation practice to alleviate the suffering we experience in our lives and to seek healing, comfort and peace, but to our surprise, we often discover that meditation practice can bring us closer to our pain. Rather than turn away from the intensity and vividness of our broken hearts, we can use meditation practice as an opportunity to open our hearts further, strengthening our capacity for love, compassion and empathy.

Join us for an intimate conversation with teacher & author Bryan Welch to explore the notion of grief, loss and love on the path of meditation along with Dharma Moon senior teachers René Fay and Rebecca D’Onofrio.

We will be discussing the inspiration for Bryan’s new book, highlighting excerpts that illuminate opportunities available to us when we can learn to stay present with our grief and pain. We will also have plenty of time for questions.

This event will take place online and the recording will be made available to those who register. Please join us! It’s free!
